Detailed Itinerary
The Journey
"We pick you up from your Fes Riad at 08:00 AM. The journey begins with a climb into the Middle Atlas Mountains. The Alpine North: Our first stop is Ifrane, built by the French in the 1930s with alpine-style architecture. Just south is the Azrou Cedar Forest, where we stop to see the wild Barbary Macaques. The Descent: After lunch in Midelt (the Apple Capital), we cross the Tizi n'Talghamt pass. The landscape turns arid as we descend into the Ziz Valley, a spectacular gorge lined with palm trees. The Desert: We reach Merzouga in the late afternoon. You will mount your camels for a trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset before arriving at your camp."

The Journey
"Wake up for the sunrise over the Algerian border. After breakfast and a 4x4 transfer back to the village, we head to Rissani to visit its bustling traditional souk (market). The Canyons: We head west to Tinghir and drive up into the Todra Gorges. You will have time to walk along the riverbank beneath the massive 300m limestone cliffs. The Valley: In the afternoon, we continue to the Dades Valley, driving past the "Monkey Fingers" rock formations. We end the day at a hotel perched in the valley, offering panoramic views."

The Journey
"We follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Valley of Roses (Kelaat M'Gouna). In Ouarzazate, we stop for a photo at the Taourirt Kasbah. The Heritage Site: The highlight of the day is the Ksar of Aït Benhaddou (UNESCO). A guided walk reveals the earthen architecture used in films like Gladiator. The Crossing: After lunch, we tackle the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m). The twisting roads offer incredible views before we descend into the Haouz plain. We drop you off at your Marrakech accommodation around 06:30 PM."
