1. Booking and Reservations
To secure your booking with MoroccoMagics, a deposit of 15% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The booking is only confirmed once we receive this deposit and issue a confirmation email. Payments for the deposit can be made via PayPal, bank transfer, or credit card.
The remaining balance of the tour cost is collected upon your arrival in Morocco.
2. Cancellations by the Client
If you need to cancel your tour, you must notify us in writing. We offer a flexible cancellation policy, and your deposit is fully refundable.
3. Cancellations or Changes by MoroccoMagics
We reserve the right to modify or cancel itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, road closures, or other events of Force Majeure. If we cancel a tour prior to departure for reasons other than Force Majeure, you will receive a full refund.
During the tour, our guides or drivers may need to adjust the itinerary for your safety and comfort. Any additional costs resulting from such necessary changes will be the responsibility of the client.
4. Passports, Visas, and Insurance
It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates) and any necessary visas for entry into Morocco.
Travel Insurance is mandatory. Your insurance must cover medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and personal liability. We strongly advise coverage for trip cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage. MoroccoMagics is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate insurance coverage.
5. Medical and Special Requirements
You must notify us in writing at the time of booking of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or mobility issues. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free diets at accommodations and camps), we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met at all times in remote areas.
6. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Travel in Morocco, particularly in the Sahara Desert, Atlas Mountains, or rural areas, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, varying weather conditions, and limited access to medical facilities.
By booking with MoroccoMagics, you accept these risks. We accept liability only for the negligent acts of our direct employees. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense resulting from circumstances beyond our control or the negligence of independent contractors (e.g., certain third-party hotels or activity providers).
7. Complaints
If you experience any issues during your tour, please inform your driver or guide immediately so they can attempt to resolve the matter on the spot. If the issue remains unresolved, you must submit your complaint in writing to us within 15 days of the tour's completion.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Moroccan courts.
