Stop in Taznakht, the capital of Ouaouzguiti Berber carpets, to see artisans weaving intricate geometric designs using natural wool and dyes.
Traverse the Draa Valley, a lush green ribbon of date palms stretching 200km from the mountains to the desert edge.
Ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset and sleep in a luxury bivouac near Merzouga, surrounded by silence.
Explore the Todra Gorges, where 300-meter vertical limestone cliffs create a dramatic canyon popular with climbers.

Detailed Itinerary
The Journey
"We depart Agadir at 08:00 AM, heading east through the Souss plains. Our first stop is Taroudant, known for its impressive ramparts. We continue to Taliouine, the heart of Morocco's Saffron production, to visit a local cooperative. The Carpet Capital: We stop in Taznakht, famous for its high-quality woven rugs. In the afternoon, we cross the arid Anti-Atlas Mountains to reach Agdz, the gateway to the Draa Valley."

The Journey
"We follow the Draa Valley south, passing millions of date palms. Instead of the main road, we may take the off-road ancient caravan track (weather permitting). We pass through Nkob, a village famous for having 45 Kasbahs. After lunch in Alnif (fossil area), we reach Merzouga. You will switch to camels for a trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness the sunset before settling into your camp."

The Journey
"Early wake-up for sunrise. We drive to Rissani to see the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif (founder of the Alaouite dynasty). We head north to the Todra Gorges for a walk beneath the limestone cliffs. In the afternoon, we travel the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Boumalne Dades and the Valley of Roses, arriving in Ouarzazate (the "Hollywood of Africa") by evening."

The Journey
"We begin with a visit to the Ksar of Aït Benhaddou (UNESCO World Heritage), the most famous fortified village in Morocco. The Return: We retrace our steps towards Agadir, but with a focus on the changing light of the Anti-Atlas landscapes. We stop for lunch in Taznakht again. We arrive in Agadir in the late afternoon, dropping you off at your hotel."
