Stone Lion and City Center Walk

Walking Ifrane city center is the simplest and most atmospheric introduction to the city. The route brings travelers through clean, orderly streets lined with red-roofed buildings, compact parks, cafés, and the celebrated Stone Lion near the central garden. It is a low-cost way to understand why Ifrane is often described as Morocco’s Little Switzerland. The experience is best enjoyed slowly, with time for photographs, coffee, and short detours through the town’s green spaces. In summer, the mountain air makes the walk especially pleasant, while in winter the same streets can take on a distinctly Alpine character after snowfall.
