The Ouzoud Falls are among the most celebrated natural sights associated with the Atlas region. Dropping approximately 110 meters through red cliffs and green vegetation, the cascades make a long but rewarding day trip from Marrakech or a scenic stop on a wider Middle Atlas and Azilal itinerary. The journey from Marrakech is commonly cited at around three hours each way, so an early departure is recommended. Once there, visitors can follow walking paths, view the falls from different terraces and enjoy simple cafés overlooking the gorge.
