Taghazout Bay
Taghazout Bay is the planned seaside resort zone on the coastal road north of Agadir, distinct from the older fishing-village core of Taghazout. Hotel sources place major properties at the Station Touristique around Km 17–18 Route d’Essaouira, where large beachfront resorts, spa facilities, restaurants, surf academy concepts, and beach access define the landscape. The atmosphere is polished and spacious, with more resort infrastructure than the traditional village and easier access to wellness, pools, organized activities, and full-service hospitality. Taghazout Bay also connects strongly with Tazegzout Golf, the 18-hole course associated with the resort area. This district is best suited to travelers who want the Atlantic setting and surf identity of Taghazout but prefer the comfort of larger hotels, family facilities, spas, and planned beachfront services. It is less intimate than the village center, but it provides a convenient base for beach holidays, golf breaks, and day trips toward Agadir, Paradise Valley, and the surrounding coast.
